In the vibrant world of music production, Tshepang, aka InQfive, is making waves with his unique sound and entrepreneurial spirit. Born in Daveyton and raised in Windmill Park, Eastrand, InQfive's love for music was ignited at a young age, thanks to his mother's passion for radio.

Growing up, InQfive was captivated by the sounds of DJ Kent and Shimza on 5FM and YFM, respectively. He would record their mixes on cassettes, studying the art of music production. This early exposure laid the foundation for his future endeavors.

In 2013, InQfive began learning to DJ and produce music, using FL Studio to craft his signature sound. He drew inspiration from artists like Ladi Adiosoul, Kaylow, and DJ Hloni, who introduced him to the deep house genre.

In 2020, InQfive took a bold step by launching his own label, InQfive Music. This move gave him the creative freedom to release music without restrictions, allowing him to showcase his artistry. Despite initial challenges, InQfive persevered, and his label began to flourish.

Collaborations with notable artists like Lizwi, KG Smallz, and Echo Deep have been instrumental in shaping InQfive's musical style. He emphasizes the importance of positive collaboration, where ideas are shared and built upon to create something remarkable.

As a mentor, InQfive has guided several artists in opening their own record labels, imparting valuable knowledge and experience. He stresses the importance of taking the music business seriously, registering companies, and understanding the intricacies of music distribution.

InQfive's passion for music production is driven by his desire to create something new and meaningful for his audience. He balances his creative work with the business side of running a label, using challenges as fuel to inspire and energize him.

Looking ahead, InQfive is excited about upcoming projects, including a solid EP for his fans and collaborations with other talented artists. He envisions InQfive Music evolving into a powerhouse, producing top-notch releases and hosting annual events that showcase the best of South African music.
